The best moment to ask for a Google review

October 7, 20262 min read

Timing and wording tips for getting more reviews from happy customers.

Reviews help local customers choose who to call. Most happy customers are willing to leave one, but they rarely do unless someone asks at the right time.

Timing

Ask soon after the job is finished and the customer has seen the result, while the experience is fresh.

Wording

  • Thank them first.
  • Make the request short and direct.
  • Include a direct link to your Google review page so it takes seconds.

Do not overdo it

One request and at most one gentle reminder is enough. If the customer had a problem, solve that first.
